Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are important subjects for children to study because they help develop skills that kids need to become successful in their future careers. At Coco Coders, we’re focused on using STEM education to get kids #FutureReady by teaching core skills such as creativity, communication, and collaboration, through our award-winning coding curriculum.

This is why it’s so important to us that Coco has received STEM Accreditation from STEM.org, which is the longest continually-operating, privately-held STEM education organisation in America. This seal of accreditation means that our program:

 • Aligns to Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math standards

 • Engages students through hands-on learning and collaboration

 • Integrates effortlessly into STEM-friendly homes and communities

 • Supports the maturation of students’ 21st Century Skills

The skills developed through our online coding classes and other STEM education don’t only benefit those who want to pursue STEM careers. An important benefit of teaching coding and STEM is growth in critical thinking. Kids can then learn how to evaluate information and solve problems they are faced with, which fosters resilience, ingenuity, and adaptation. 

Our award-winning coding curriculum goes way beyond simply teaching children how to code. As we help to develop their minds and teach new skills, they can develop their own passions and confidence to take on whatever the future holds.
